We’ve managed to raise an amazing £930 in the Streets of Leith raffle. Thanks so much to those who bought a street or two, or more!
Enormous thanks also to our generous prize donors, local businesses who continue to support Leith Primary during these difficult times.

Money raised will be used to buy equipment, books and toys for the playground and classrooms.
Visit Parent Pay to buy a 2021 calendar featuring self portraits by all the children from nursery to P7 plus some staff too! £3 each or £2.50 each if you buy more than one.
It features important dates across the school year. Also the P7s have created some lovely crafts including masks, keyrings and cards. Great stocking fillers and the money raised goes to charities chosen by the children.

And thank you to all of our generous prize donors for their support of our Leith Primary pupils. Finally, enormous thanks to all of our parents, carers and friends of the school for buying a ticket and supporting us this Christmas. Money raised supports the school to buy resources like our iPad charging units, equipment and books for classes and treats like the pantomime on Friday.

This Wednesday (25th) at 6:15pm we will be holding the second parent council meeting of the new school year via Microsoft Teams video call.
All welcome to hear an update from the head teacher and hear what projects the parent council have been involved in and what’s coming up.
You don’t need to put your camera/microphone on – just listen in or ask a Q via the chat function if you wish.

The meeting was held remotely over Microsoft Team and attended by parents, teachers with a head teacher’s update from Miss Craig. Download the minutes to get up to date on all the latest parent council activities.

Further updates on arrangements are expected early this week regarding where to line up and which entrance to use.
It is almost the end of term and school year so to say thank you to the wonderful staff of Leith Primary and Nursery, the parent council are organising a thank you video message.
